I most recently edited the book In-Game: From Immersion to Incorporation, written by Dr. Gordon Calleja and currently in press with The MIT Press.
My major research interest is in videogamevalues which was the topic of my Ph.D. dissertation. As part of this, I am currently writing a book with my wife, Dr. Rilla Khaled, on the presence of human cultural values in video games.
At ITU, I am teaching courses relating to the intersection of video games with human-computer interaction (HCI) research, particularly as concerns evaluation and experimental interaction design.
I also regularly update my creative website, stimulusresponse, which includes animation, drawing, photography, and more, but chiefly involves comics lately.
