For real though

Title

• Maybe just keep it simple? v r 6: solo / Maksim Bugrimov (maybe even just a sign in the first room and you just show up in there.)

Audio

• Room tone? Other sounds? Distant music?
• Desert tone? v r 1 reference? At the very least distinct tone between desert and building
• Dead Man hall? Specific v r 1 reference?

Audio guide

• Answered and I think quite positively. Proceed. Asked, not yet answered. Ask Michael B about approach

• Make notes for VO for all rooms (consider the idea of chopped up individual ideas that play over time rather than a single file)
• Solve the “they walked away” problem, maybe just a cut-off sound so they know that it happened, do not go quietly into that good night
• Indicate it’s good to listen

Introductory text?

• Pending audio guide? Where would it even go? Maybe it would actually help “solve” the “problem” of how dull I find the Spaceship… it could share space with the wall text/title.

Building real rooms together

• Stick all the correct rooms together in order

Install

• Install spaceship
• Install pictures
• Install Stalin
• Install pizza
• Base Man
• Barrels
• Dead Man
  • Dead Man trick
• Humanoid Creature

• Post Apocalyptic Pack

• Gift Shop
• Desert

Specific installs

Spaceship

• Show information panel

• Stanchions

• Improve info panel

Paintings

• Spotlights
• Colliders for the tilty ones

Stalin

• (Brightness issues) Spotlight casting… no shadows?

Pizza

• Handle pizza collision

Base Men

• I think I finally solved this with fewer men, floating in the air beautifully Repour fewer for better lighting (remember to use mesh colliders on stanchions and ropes for better physics, then replace with boxes)

Barrels

• Consider improving the colliders (capsules on the prefabs)
• ~~Maybe some more barrels, ~~

Dead Man

• How to deal with the trigger and no-look tries? (On Update probably)

• Invisible cube… Stanchion?

• Sound
• Lighting?

Humanoid Creature

• Feels too complex Gantry/ladder/viewing platform?
• Stanchions?

Apocalypse Pack

• More stuff (especially throw stuff inside the final building?)

• Flickerings?
• Apocalyptic soundings?
• Colliders

Gift shop

• Yes. Include the museum space in the gift shop?
• Yes. What has to shrink to make the gift shop? The apocalypse I suppose.

• Build a simple version just for initial layout and feel and webgl impact.

• Lighting problems with animated models as per usual, lighting sucks in general
• Try out the basic thought of mini model, look at it, display a key to press, open a browser window for that model (consider highlighting the model)

Desert

• Put the museum in the desert
• Build the super structure
• Install the cargo ship
• Create the museum-desert transition script/tech
• Sounds on museum disappear (let them see it)
• Lighting etc. (realtime?)

The Dead Man trick

• It even worked. Try it out with no infrastructure
